Governor Abbott Appoints Hansen To 523rd Judicial District In Montgomery County

AUSTIN, TX -- Governor Greg Abbott appointed Donna Hansen as Judge of the 523rd Judicial District Court in Montgomery County, effective September 1, 2026, for a term set to expire December 31, 2028, or until her successor shall be duly elected and qualified.

Donna Hansen of Conroe is a division chief and assistant district attorney for the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office and a former assistant district attorney for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas District & County Attorneys Association, and the Montgomery County Bar Association. Additionally, she is a member of the State Child Fatality Review Team Committee and the Children’s Safe Harbor Board. Hansen received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston and a Juris Doctor from Regent University.
