Montgomery Woman Arrested in The Woodlands With Fentanyl, Personal Information of Hundreds of Potential Victims

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- On September 3, 2026, deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) were conducting proactive enforcement in The Woodlands area when they conducted a traffic stop on a black Nissan SUV near the 1100 block of Lake Woodlands Dr.

The driver was identified as 36-year-old Christina Haley of Montgomery. A records check revealed Haley had three active felony warrants out of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office for Tampering with Government Records, Fraudulent Use of Identifying Information, and Credit/Debit Card Abuse.

Haley was taken into custody on the outstanding warrants. During a search of the vehicle, deputies located and seized approximately 1.97 grams of fentanyl, along with numerous pieces of personal identifying information belonging to other individuals. The information included names, Social Security numbers, and bank routing numbers.

Haley was transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where she was booked on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance, in addition to the outstanding felony warrants from Harris County.

As the investigation continues, Haley is expected to face additional charges related to the possession of personal identifying information belonging to hundreds of potential victims. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the case and is working to identify and notify potential victims.

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
