THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Get your paws ready for the most adorable event in town. Kirby Ice House in The Woodlands is thrilled to host its Annual Corgi Racing on Saturday, November 7th, starting at 12 p.m. They don't run in miles per hour—they run in wiggles per minute.

Get Ready for the Cutest Race of the Year on Saturday, November 7, Sponsored by Tito's & Pacifico

Spectators can watch for free, while dog owners can register their Corgis to race for a $20 entry fee. Please note that Kirby Ice House is a strictly 21-and-up venue.

All proceeds from the race entries directly benefit BARC Houston, the City of Houston's animal shelter and adoption facility. By managing animal control, public safety, and rabies control, BARC protects the community while actively working to reduce pet overpopulation through spay/neuter services, pet adoptions, and partnerships with local rescue groups.

This year’s event is proudly sponsored by Texas’ own Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Pacifico, bringing the community together for a fun afternoon in support of local shelter animals.

“Our corgi races bring together so much of what we love at Kirby Ice House: our community, our dogs, and a reason to get together for a good time,” said Margo Axton, Kirby Ice House’s vice president of operations. “There’s nothing quite like watching a crowd cheer for a corgi who may or may not be headed toward the finish line. The energy is contagious, and we’re excited to bring that fun to The Woodlands while supporting a great cause.”

Guests can expect plenty of short legs, big personalities, and photo-worthy finishes as pint-sized racers dash for bragging rights at Kirby Ice House’s spacious Woodlands location. Whether your favorite competitor is built for speed, snacks, or simply stealing the spotlight, the afternoon promises a tail-wagging good time for corgi fans and dog lovers alike. While other racers have long strides, corgis rely entirely on those aerodynamic ears for added speed.

Corgi owners interested in signing up their dogs can find registration details on-site or through the official Kirby Ice House website. Come out to cheer on the fastest Corgis in town, enjoy refreshing drinks, and support a great cause.
