Registration still open for next week's Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District Symposium

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District has announced that registration is remaining open a little longer for its upcoming symposium that will celebrate 25 years of protecting the county’s groundwater. The event takes place on Thursday, October 29, from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at the Lone Star Convention & Expo Center, 9055 Airport Rd in Conroe.

At the symposium, attendees can hear a keynote from State Representative Will Metcalf, a panel of county leaders on navigating rapid growth, and sessions with river authorities, attorneys, and water experts.

Tickets for this event are free; however, registration is required as seating is limited. A catered lunch will be included.

"This symposium is a unique opportunity to hear directly from water experts and local leaders about the water resources that support our growing community and future," said event sponsors.
