THE WOODLANDS, TX -- It’s about that time again. In fact, it happens every year around this time. Companies and families begin their plans for holiday menus for office, home, where holiday party options for Thanksgiving and Christmas come to mind. Local Table in The Woodlands recently announced their menu to bring a fond remembrance for the importance of holiday gatherings and to give thanks for friends, family, and colleagues, in celebrating the Holiday Season with a taste of recognizable Americana favorites with hints of a global influence. Local Table is celebrating their first 10 years in 2026, with an excitement that boasts a welcoming atmosphere with their restaurant's decor, or if you prefer they can bring the hearty fare to your office or home, to make the efforts of preparation as easy as you need it for your celebration and your catering style needs.

The Holiday Family Feast for 4 includes the cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes with poblano mushroom gravy, green bean casserole, with sides of cranberry sauce and dinner rolls.
Local Table recently held a little preview of their holiday menu, with apps, a course with honey glazed ham, and a classic oven-roasted turkey course, along with an assortment of available desserts.
The appetizer plate was a wonderful selection of American and International assortments that were an enjoyment of the palate. The fried Petite Crab Cake bite carried a sea flavor that was mild, warm, tender, with a sweet, buttery, famous spiced, and savory interior. It has a flavor that is appreciated for lovers of the coastline, and those who appreciate a slight detour in their holiday feasting. The BBQ Bacon Wrapped Shrimp is a home-run in bite sized apps, sporting a strong flavor profile in every bite. From salty and savory, sweet and tangy, smoky, spicy and zesty, with the bacon and BBQ sauce, which takes shrimp to new heights. The lite crunch of the bacon gives way to the tender, juicy, and plump bite that will only enhance your taste buds into full excitement. Local Table also offered a few international inspired apps with their Falafel and Beef Tenderloin Kabob bites.
The first course, a lovely dish with Honey Glazed Ham, Mac and Cheese, Mashed Sweet Potatoes and Fire-Roasted Brussels Sprouts, was incredible with the sweet, savory, and salty flavors of the ham, with its crust that had a wonderful caramelized surface touched by its honey, brown sugar, and spiced coating. It matched well with their in-house made mild and creamy Mac and Cheese, and along with their Mashed Sweet Potatoes, and Fire-Roasted Brussels Sprouts it was a contrast of flavors with every bite. The Mashed Sweet Potatoes are an inspired morning glorious alternative to their nightshade cousin, with a sweet, earthy, and warm taste. The texture is velvety and in preparation concentrates their natural sugars for an incredible mash, mixed with warm spices such as nutmeg and cinnamon, vanilla, and sugar, that will put a smile on your face. The Brussels Sprouts are kissed with flame, yielding a mild heat and a nutty carmelization, touched with a sweet and tangy balsamic coating that pleases the taste buds. And with a little ham with each side in each bite to maximize the flavors, you can see and taste the intentions of Local Table chefs, and their hopes you truly enjoy a grand holiday meal.
The second course, a lovely dish of Oven-Roasted Turkey Breast with brown gravy, Cornbread Dressing, Mashed Potatoes and Green Bean Casserole, is more reflective of tables of the past, but is still relevant today for those who appreciate more traditional flavors. The skinless turkey breast is a mix of savory, mildly spiced, and a tender naturally meaty bite, with a subtle poultry hint that will bring memories of grandma’s Thanksgiving table. And the brown gravy will only enhance the experience. It only gets better with the cornbread dressing, which combines rustic flavors allowing for savory, rich, and earthy flavors in a succulent bite representative from the turkey juices. The sautéed onions and celery go well with the aromatic herbs and rich turkey stock that the breading absorbs, and has been gracing tables for generations. The mashed potatoes and green bean casserole are as classic as they come, and are surely to impress as well.
Local Table’s regular menu is there as well, holiday or not, and several of their most popular dishes are their Anaheim Chicken and Beef and/or Chicken Kabobs. The Southwestern flavor of the mild Anaheim pepper and chicken reveals a savory and moist chicken breast, tangy, a hint of smoke, and slight sweetness. The kabobs, either beef, chicken, or a combination, brings contrasts to the mild, lighter, and more delicate chicken which is bold, deep, and savory, with perfect grill marks. Both dishes are paired with cilantro rice with roasted root vegetables.
Both Holiday Feasts include cranberry and dinner rolls, while the Holiday Feast for 10 also includes a seasonal pie. The Holiday Feast menu includes numerous hors d'oeuvre choices, and à la carte offerings which serve 10 people. A Lite Holiday Package for 15, includes mini beef kabobs, mini chicken quesadillas with homemade guacamole and chipotle, falafel bites with tahini drizzle, spinach artichoke dip, caprese skewers, and tuscan with pita, carrots and cucumbers.
Local Table requests Holiday Family Feast orders a 24 hour notice prior to delivery or pick-up. The restaurant is located in Technology Plaza, at 4223 Research Forest Dr. in The Woodlands.
