The Woodlands Highlanders are your District 12-6A champions for the 2017 season. After missing two games earier in the season to Harvey, the Highlanders rattled off 7 consecutive wins after losing their opener to Katy to finish the regular season 7-1 and enter the playoffs with a number one seed.

College Park Head Coach Lonnie Madison will have to wait until next year to get his first victory in District 12-6A. The Cavaliers finished the regular season 1-8 but will have a lot of starters returning next year. Things look to be on the rise for the Cavaliers in the near future and Madison will look to get College Park to the playoffs for the first time since 2015.
