About Us
Dr. Joshua Griffin earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and his medical degree from McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Texas A&M University Health Science Center College of Medicine and a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at McGovern Medical School.
In practice since 2010, Dr. Griffin is board certified in orthopedic surgery. He specializes in the latest and most advanced techniques for minimally invasive surgery and reconstructive treatments, as well as nonsurgical management and rehabilitation. He has worked with Houston's major professional teams – the Texans, Rockets, Astros and Dynamo – as well as the University of Houston and several local high schools.
He serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine.
Dr. Griffin's goal is to provide quality care through compassionate service, comprehensive evaluation and diagnosis, and proficient surgery and technique. He hopes to have each of his patients return to what they love most – sports, career or family activities.
