Rachel Jelks, Founder / CEO
T.E.A.M. Abilities began as a dream.
Rachel Jelks, Founder and CEO,
worked as a nurse in Direct Care.
She noticed less than desirable facilities for the potential
of adults with disabilities to truly shine.
So the dream of becoming a Service Provider began.
"Today the demand for our individualized-care approach has grown and developed into TEAM Abilities. We continue to cater our care to the special gifts of each individual. We know the need for care and support is only going to grow and we are prepared to meet the demand with our robust ISS program and 16 Community Living homes". This was the dream, now realized.
HCS Provider, After-School Provider
As a service provider, our goal is to assist in the navigation and provision of services available for individuals with disabilities.With all the recent changes we find this need to be of great service for parents & guardians Services through HCS include: Adaptive Aids, Respite, Residential Assistance and Foster Care, Counseling and Therapy, Dental Treatment, Minor Home Modifications and Supported Employment.
Our Philosophy
We believe people with disabilities should be able to live, work and play in their community. They should be seen and welcomed. They should thrive and be given every opportunity to grow.
