Therapy Pet Pals of Texas - The Woodlands Chapter

We provide pet/volunteer teams for visitation programs to healthcare facilities where there is no other contact with pets. We provide residents/patients with a demonstrative outlet for expressing their love through holding and cuddling an animal that will reciprocate with an equal expression of affection. We recruit, certify, test and train new volunteers the first Saturdays of March and September for work in pet therapy visitation programs . Our next classes are scheduled for March 2 and September 7, 2024. All dogs must have passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test and provide certificate prior to attending the class. If your dog has passed the CGC test and the above dates do not work for you, contact us and we will work with you to try to accommodate your schedule.
