Beautiful, top-of-the-line Fostoria glass perfectly “finishes” a table. This gorgeous set shines not only because of the optic crystal, but because of the glittering platinum rims. Produced by America's premiere glass maker of the 19th and 20th century, this heirloom-quality set is in perfect condition. It’s not only delightful to look at, it’s pleasing to hold. This set features what I consider to be Fostoria’s prettiest stem. It resembles a flower opening its petals. Even though the bowl is larger than the base because it’s perfectly balanced by this master glass designer and maker.
This is true crystal--it "rings" beautifully.
It contains lead, which makes it more resilient to breakage, as well as making it extremely clear.
