This is a 9 inch diameter hand-cut lead crystal serving bowl, likely made in Eastern Europe (Poland, Czechoslovakia/Bohemia, or East Germany) during the mid-20th century. It is not from the American Brilliant Period (1876–1917), nor is it modern pressed glass.
Clear, heavy, highly refractive — consistent with lead crystal (likely 24–30% PbO, even if not marked).
Deep, sharp, hand-cut facets — not molded or pressed. The cuts are irregular in depth and spacing, typical of handwork.
Radial fan panels with crosshatch (zipper) cutting between them; central 16-point starburst base.
Scalloped with pointed teeth — a classic decorative flourish.
Many high-quality Eastern European crystal pieces from the 1950s–1980s were not marked, especially those made for export to the U.S. or sold through department stores.
