Macintosh “Mac Pro” Case (only) with mATX Mounts (for PC enthusiasts)
This is a 2005-era G5 Mac Pro case from Apple (the big, silver one) - see pics
* WITH "Laser Hive" (from UK) G5 mATX 120 Kit installed (to be able to install mATX motherboard into this Apple case) :: https://thelaserhive.com/product/g5-matx-120-kit/
* WITH "Laser Hive" (from UK) Pressed Mesh Fan Grill (a clean, good fan cover): https://thelaserhive.com/product/pressed-mesh-fan-grill/
This all together allows you to install a standard mATX motherboard (and GPU, RAM, PSU, etc, etc) into Apple's G5 Mac Pro case, with expected mounts for the motherboard (the PSU fits "loose" at the bottom). GPU and other PCIe ports all line up and work fine. It works great!
Ideal for the person that wants a very, very unique look for their PC. The case is very good but not perfect condition; it does have a scratch or two on it but the case looks really good, the chassis door release lever works perfectly, there's lots of room to put stuff in it, etc. - works great!
Please note: This is for an enthusiast. Work is required to set this up - you'll need at least a mATX motherboard, a GPU, a CPU, fans / etc. for cooling, RAM, SSD, and familiarity with building a PC. Screws/fasteners and other small parts may be required (but I'll include what I have when I disassembled it, so from the point of view of the case, you should be OK).
