Mardi Gras Doubloons
Description
For sale is a collection of authentic New Orleans Mardi Gras doubloons. Framed in wood with double matting by Frame City & Gallery (New Orleans, Metairie, and Gretna) and measuring 15" x 15", it features eight single colored aluminum doubloons, including two with a loop, surrounding one sealed multicolor Heavy Doubloon in the center. All from 1979 by the Krewe of Alla and honoring the French author Jules Vernes, they appear to be in excellent "non-thrown" condition. Merci Beaucoup.
