Snuggles & Hugs is a boutique dog daycare and luxury boarding facility seeking an experienced Dog Daycare Pack Leader to join our team on a part-time basis.

This role requires strong, natural dog communication skills and proven experience safely handling large groups of dogs, including large breeds.

The ideal candidate can read dog body language quickly, manage group energy, and step in confidently to maintain a calm, structured pack environment.

Responsibilities include supervising structured group play, managing pack dynamics, and providing one-on-one engagement throughout the day. One-on-one care may include enrichment activities such as puzzles, agility-style movement, fetch, calm interaction, and individualized attention based on each dog’s needs.
For boarding guests, responsibilities also include feeding morning and evening meals and administering medications as instructed. Candidates must be attentive to individual routines and comfortable following written care instructions accurately.

Additional duties include supporting daily drop-off and pick-up, completing dog intake and check-out procedures, updating basic care notes in each dog’s file, providing brief daily updates to pet parents, answering occasional phone calls, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.

This includes immediate cleanup of potty accidents and proactive attention to safety and hygiene at all times.

This position does not include invoicing or payroll responsibilities. Front-of-house care documentation and intake procedures are part of normal daily operations.

This role is best suited for a dependable, confident professional who uses good judgment, takes initiative, and can work independently in a fast-paced dog daycare environment.

Expert-level dog communication and body language awareness. Proven experience handling large groups of dogs, including large breeds. Ability to manage pack dynamics calmly and confidently. Strong situational awareness, leadership presence, and client communication skills. Must be dependable, observant, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
