Position Overview
Responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and cheerful environment for children ages 0–5. This role involves direct care, age-appropriate educational activities, and professional interaction with parents and church staff.

Key Responsibilities
Child Care: Provide age-appropriate care including feeding, diapering, nap supervision, and holding/sitting with children.

Engagement: Cheerfully interact with children through games, stories, crafts, and play.

Education: In coordination with the Nursery Coordinator, execute age-appropriate lessons and activities during Sunday morning worship.

Safety & Security: * Maintain a safe and clean environment.

Ensure children are only released to the authorized adult listed on the sign-in form.

Abide by all established nursery policies and procedures.

Maintenance: Straighten the nursery and sanitize all used toys and equipment before opening and after the shift ends.

Professionalism: Maintain a polite, friendly, and courteous demeanor with all children, parents, and visitors.

Age: Attendants (18+) | Assistants (15+).

Experience: Skilled with children ages 0–5; must be adaptable to various personalities.

Safety: Must pass a church background check and complete Safe Sanctuary Training.

Certification: CPR/First Aid (infants/children) required or obtained within one month.

Availability: Flexible hours based on program needs, including special events and holidays.
