The Climbing Tree at Christ Church Methodist is hiring Preschool Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and Substitute Teachers for our faith-based childcare center in The Woodlands, TX.

We offer both:

Full-day, year-round positions
School-day, school-year positions
Whether you’re experienced or just getting started, we’re looking for caring, dependable people who love working with children.

Pay

$13–$17 per hour, based on experience, education, and position (Assistant, Lead, or Substitute Teacher)

We are a well-established, faith-based preschool and childcare center serving children from 6 weeks through Pre-K and Private Kindergarten.

What You’ll Do

Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
Work collaboratively with a supportive team
Care for and supervise children throughout the day

What We’re Looking For

Must be 18+ with high school diploma or GED
Experience in childcare, preschool, or early childhood education is a plus (not required)
Dependable, positive, and team-oriented
Strong communication and time management skills
A genuine heart for working with children

Requirements

Must pass background check through Texas Child Care Licensing
Must be able to work in a drug-free environment
Physical Requirements

Able to stand for extended periods
Lift 10–40 pounds as needed
Bend, reach, and move throughout the classroom
