The work and responsibilities will include:
Assisting Classroom Teacher(s) with the supervision of students in all instructional settings;
Assisting Classroom Teacher(s) with approved behavior management techniques by demonstrating, modeling, and positively reinforcing desired behaviors;
Maintaining data as identified by teacher(s)
Assisting in tailoring lessons to meet an individual student’s or small group’s needs;
Supporting the classroom teacher(s) with lesson plans by practicing and reinforcing learning concepts;
Assisting students in performing self-help and academic skills;
Assisting with administration and scoring of tests and work assignments;
Assisting Classroom Teacher(s) with implementation of accommodations and/or modifications;
Adapting classroom activities, assignments, and/or materials to support and reinforce classroom objectives;
Monitoring students during transition times throughout the school day, inside and outside of the classroom
Additional duties as assigned
Maintaining an organized and cleanly classroom
Assisting the teacher with lesson preparation tasks
Collaborating with all teachers and maintaining a pleasant, friendly, supportive approach with other staff members
Maintaining a teamwork approach with the classroom teacher to anticipate needs and keep classroom routines flowing smoothly
Attending scheduled check-in meeting with teacher and administration

Must be patient with children, be a good collaborator, be reliable and pass an FBl background check.
