Assistant Director
Responsibilities:
Assist with the daily management of the Mother's Day Out program
Support and supervise teachers and classroom staff
Communicate effectively with parents and families
Help maintain licensing and safety standards
Assist with enrollment, scheduling, and administrative tasks
Step into classrooms as needed to provide support and coverage
Foster a welcoming and positive atmosphere for children and staff
Qualifications:
Experience working with preschool-aged children
Previous leadership or administrative experience preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Background check required
Preferred:
Experience in a church-based or early childhood education setting
Knowledge of state childcare licensing requirements
