Economic Development Partnership Announces New Board Members

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The South Montgomery County Woodlands Economic Development Partnership (EDP) has announced its newly-appointed board members for the 2009-2010 term.

These new board members include Mike Karlins of Karlins & Ramey LLC as chair, Karen Hoylman of The Woodlands Chamber as vice-chair, Robert Collins of Montgomery County Precinct 3 as secretary, Greg Maxwell of Chevron Phillips Chemical Co. as treasurer, and Clyde Parker of Winstead PC as immediate past chair.

Other board members include Michael Barnhill of Entergy, Spencer Bautista of Cardon Healthcare Network, Chris Grice of Amegy Bank of Texas, Stephanie John of McGlinchey Stafford, PLLC, Kent Johnson of The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center, Stuart Lapp of Petroleum Wholesale, Ray Laughter of Lone Star College - Montgomery, Dan Leverett of The Woodlands Development Company, Don Norrell of The Woodlands Township, Mayor Fred O’Connor of City of Oak Ridge North, Michael Richmond of Woodforest National Bank, John Risher of Gilbane Building Co., Steve Sanders of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital, Mike Shultz of Consolidated Communications, Brad Thompson of Wells Fargo, and Mayor Garry Watts of City of Shenandoah.

The Economic Development Partnership is dedicated to promoting the economic development of South Montgomery County through the support of existing businesses and the recruitment of new businesses that can bring opportunities to the area.
