Miss Woodlands Scholarship Pageant hosting pet supplies drive

Each year, The Miss Woodlands Pageant hosts a drive benefiting a local charity in need. So many of us love animals and found many local animal shelters are in need of just basic pet supplies. This year, The Miss Woodland Pageant will host a pet supplies drive to benefit local animal shelters.

Crowns Giving Comfort was founded by former Mrs. Woodlands Brittany K. Martinez and has organized drives for many organizations in need of basic supplies.

Donations are open to anyone and can be delivered on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at McCullough Jr. High School's Performing Arts Theater or to pageant headquarters located at 5403 FM 1488, inside Encore Resale.

Items needed are cat/dog food, treats, toys, liter and blankets.
