Area company hosting fundraiser for animal rescue group

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands Heating & Air Conditioning is hosting a "Dog Days of Summer Fund Drive" to raise money for A SMART Rescue, a local no-kill animal rescue organization. The goal for the fundraiser is to donate $7,500 to the shelter by the end of summer.

Founded in 2002, A SMART Rescue is a is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax exempt organization serving the Harris and Montgomery County areas. The organization receives no federal funding and operates from the donations of generous benefactors. Any contribution you give is tax deductible.This fund drive campaign is part of Coco's Causes, The Woodlands Heating & Air Conditioning's annual charity drive to help needy pets in The Woodlands.

The Woodlands Heating & Air Conditioning started the fund drive by donating $2,500 and will match dollar for dollar any contributions up to $2,500. Donations can be made online or by using the donation form at the link below. The "Dog Days of Summer Fund Drive" will end September 22.
