The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center inducted into Gold Award Hall of Fame

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center has earned Gold Award Hall of Fame status from Meetings & Conventions Magazine for winning the publication’s prestigious Gold Key Award for the twelfth consecutive year.

The conference center received its first Gold Key award in 1980 as presented to the world’s finest meeting facilities. Winners are nominated and selected by the readers of Meetings & Conventions - professional meeting and event planners - who base their votes on strict criteria including overall professionalism and quality of the resort.

"Quality service, staff friendliness and enhanced meeting services have been our trademark since the conference center’s opening,” said Kent Johnson, general manager of The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center. “Joining the Gold Award Hall of Fame affirms our team’s hard work and dedication to achieve this status.”

The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center, with two on-property golf courses, also is a 17-time winner of Meetings & Conventions Gold Tee Award for outstanding golf facilities.
