Best Friends celebrates 20 years June 2-3

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Pet parents have entrusted Best Friends Pet Care with the care of their dogs and cats for more than 14 million pet nights over the past two decades.

To say thanks, Best Friends Pet Care and Best Friends Animal Hospital in Spring will give away free doggy ice cream and cookies to all visitors during the weekend of June 2-3. Guests also will have the chance to win special 20th anniversary prizes, including a trip for four to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

The celebration will take place Saturday, June 2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, June 3 from 1 to 6 p.m.

“We’re very excited to share our anniversary celebration with the community,” said Best Friends Manager Susan Adam. “We are lucky to have so many loyal clients and friends. We want to thank them and, we hope, make some new friends too.”

Best Friends owns and operates 42 full-service pet care centers across the U.S., including at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida where Best Friends is the exclusive pet care provider. Founded in 1992, the company employs more than 1,000 people nationwide.

Over the years, Best Friends has made a priority of giving back to the community, organizing adoption events for animal rescues and hosting pet owner educational programs. The company’s holiday Angel Tree campaign, now in its 12th year, collects donations to help homeless pets at local shelters and rescues.
