LSC-Montgomery to host job fairs for HPD, Burlington Coat Factory

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Lone Star College-Montgomery is hosting two separate job fairs to place students and/or community members into a new career with either the Houston Police Department or Burlington Coat Factory.

On Tuesday, September 11, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., the Houston Police Department will share information on its upcoming academy training programs, which begin in February and June of 2013. The job fair will be located in the first floor commons area of the General Academic Center (Building G). Those interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement are encouraged to attend.

Then, on Thursday, September 13, and Friday, September 14, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., in the atrium of the Health Science Center (Building B), Burlington Coat Factory will host a job fair for positions at its new store in Conroe, which is scheduled to open in October at 16590 I-45 South.

Burlington Coat Factory, an apparel and home product retail store, is hiring for all store positions, including customer service supervisor, receiving supervisor, merchandising team associates, markdown team associates, sales associates, receiving associates, cashiers, and recovery team associates.
