Begin the school year with prayer: The Woodlands Prayer Walk

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands Prayer Walk is a community-wide gathering of Christ-followers to pray for our beautiful community before the school year kicks off. Come gather with a community of believers on August 25, 2013 and focus on prayer for our schools. Everyone will gather at local schools to pray for future generations, our children, the teachers, administration and everyone else involved in the school year. Join us as we will pray for peace, unity, safety and for the love of Christ to spread throughout schools.

There is no distinction or recognition of any church. Rather, as one Church, one Body of Believers, we will gather to pray for our schools, our city leaders, and those in our community.

Here’s how it works. Spread the news through your church and to your friends and neighbors to join you on the Prayer Walk. Show up at your selected school on Sunday, August 25, 2013, between 4 p.m.- 5 p.m. A representative will hand you a card with a list of suggested prayer topics, and Scripture verses to reference as you pray. You can Prayer Walk alone, with others you know from your church or group, or meet other Christ-followers in your community with them that day to pray.
