CHI St. Luke’s Health–Lakeside Hospital in The Woodlands celebrates 5th anniversary
THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The medical team and staff at CHI St. Luke’s Health–Lakeside Hospital in The Woodlands, Texas, celebrated its fifth anniversary September 29.
Lakeside Hospital offers specialized care in orthopedic medicine, including total joint replacement, spine surgery, sports medicine, interventional cardiology, diagnostic imaging, and 24-hour emergency care. It is affiliated with Texas Heart® Institute and Baylor College of Medicine, and all of its physician partners are board certified in their medical specialty.
“I am extremely proud of what we have accomplished in five short years,” said Diane Freeman, RN, MBA, Assistant Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, Lakeside Hospital.” From the first shovel of dirt to our first patient walking though the door, the achievements have been outstanding. We have made such a positive impact in this area for so many patients, physicians, and families as we remain focused on quality in all that we do every day. Since its opening, Lakeside Hospital has consistently rated in the top five percent in the country on publicly-reported patient satisfaction scores, and has been voted by Modern Healthcare magazine as a “Best Place to Work in Healthcare” three consecutive years from 2011 to 2013. The hospital recently received the 2012-13 Texas Hospital Quality Improvement Award, which recognizes hospitals that have undertaken quality initiatives to improve outcomes in patient care, and have improved their performance on specific national quality measures.
To date, Lakeside Hospital has had more than 65,000 patient visits and currently has 140 employees.
