Community invited to 2014 FaithsTogether gathering

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – On Tuesday, November 19, at 7:30PM, 400 community members from 12 different faiths will gather at Lord of Life Lutheran Church located at 3801 South Panther Creek Drive, to give thanks for cultivating compassion in our community.

FaithsTogether is a fellowship of religious communities which honors spiritual diversity by building relationships and understanding among people of different faiths.

Over 12 different faiths and their community members gather each Thanksgiving season to honor unity and diversity as well as celebrate humanity. This year’s observance will include a community choir directed by Rob Hunt and a reception will immediately follow the program.

Guests planning to attend are encouraged to bring a donation of canned or non-perishable food which will be donated to a local food pantry. For more information on the FaithsTogether gathering event, please contact Jan Chappell at 713-598-4879.
