Paul Lancaster backs Bush's sincere heart for CISD School Board

Dear Editor,

For the first time ever, I spent time today at the early voting poll in support of a special candidate for the CISD board. Melanie Bush sincerely cares about the children, the youth, and the parents in our area. My own experience in mentoring in our schools over the past several years has made me aware of what a great heart for service she has shown. She has mentored, encouraged, and assisted so many without regard to race, ethnicity, or social position just because she cared.

It has been a real pleasure to watch her for many years in her participation and contributions to events in our church, the schools, and the community. She has always been one we could count on to serve faithfully with caring and a smile for everyone.

Having enjoyed a great relationship with many of our former school board members, I look forward to the election of Melanie Bush and what she can do to help CISD continue to be the best in the state.
