Lone Star Art Guild 53rd Convention & Art Exhibit June 26 - 27

SPRING, Texas - For the 53rd year, the Lone Star Art Guild will display the finest in fine art from 17 area art guilds within a 150-mile radius. This years Convention and Art Exhibition will take place June 26 & 27, at the Klein ISD Multipurpose Center located at 7500 FM 2920 Klein (Spring), TX 77379.

The state-of-the-art center is conveniently located between Old Spring and Tomball; equidistant between I-45N and SH 249. Approximately 20,000 sq. ft. of meeting and ballroom space will provide an aesthetic venue conducive to showcasing the beautiful art that will fill the facility. Ample parking is an added plus.

The event will be comprised of demonstrations by well-known artists, the annual juried art show and exhibition showcasing the winners from the past year's member league shows, a members' luncheon, art exhibition, award presentation and show judges' critiques, all celebrating the wonderful art produced over the past year by LSAG members.

The Business of Art Workshop:

LSAG will also host "The Business of Art" workshop again this year on Friday, June 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The workshop will be presented by Karen Vernon, Ken Muenzenmayer and Bernard Mendoza. The workshop fee is $150.

The Public Art Exhibition & Sale will take place Saturday, June 27, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. For the entire event see Schedule of Events.
