THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The 14th Annual Spring Home & Garden Show The Woodlands will be held Saturday and Sunday, March 12 and 13, 2016, at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, 1601 Lake Robbins Drive.

From a grill-cleaning robot to drapes that automatically open and close to easy-maintenance marble countertops, those attending the 14th Annual Spring Home & Garden Show The Woodlands will have a chance to see, touch and experience the latest in home-improvement products.

“The Spring Show in The Woodlands features products, information and experts for assistance in upgrading virtually every room in the house,” Tony Wood, president of Texwood Shows Inc., producer of the annual home and garden show, said. “And that assistance carries through to outdoor living, a popular spring and summer pastime for Gulf Coast residents.”

Grill enthusiasts will have an opportunity to see an in-show demonstration of Grillbot, the world’s first automatic grill-cleaning robot, and will be able to pick up some grilling tips, recipes and samples (while supplies last) from the professionals at the Cunningham Gas Outdoor Cooking Stage. Kicking off at noon both days of the show, the cooking stage will host Clarence Alexander, executive chef at Kirby’s Prime Steakhouse; and Lawrence Fogarty, culinary instructor at Main Course Cooking School on Saturday. Sunday’s lineup includes the culinary team of Art Andrade and Gus Flores from The Red Brick Tavern and Martin Horsey, chef at the Stabit Food Truck.

Show-goers desiring a taste for something different will be able to grab a bite at one—or all—of the food trucks that will be set up outside the show. The Skye Café food truck will be there with its comfort food of wraps, sliders, soup and more on Saturday, and Houston’s Finest Soulfood on Wheels will serve up traditional soul food, from mac and cheese to oxtails and greens, on Sunday. On both days of the show, Maine-ly Sandwiches will provide the best of New England cuisine including authentic lobster and snow crab rolls as well as classic lobster bisque and clam chowder.

Wine and craft beer aficionados won’t want to miss the opportunity to taste products from Fall Creek Winery and Cyclers Brewing, which will be on hand both days of the show, as will wine expert Denman Moody, author of ‘The Advanced Oenophile.’

Randy Lemmon, host of KTRH AM 740’s GardenLine will broadcast his show live from 6 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, and at 10:30 will lead a discussion of his newest book, “Texas Tough Gardening with Randy Lemmon,” covering gardening in the Texas extreme weather – too hot, too cold, too wet, followed by a book signing from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., which will be held again on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The show’s Custom Homebuilding Stage will feature seminars led by Stephen Hann, Graduate Master Builder/Remodeler and Certified Green Building Professional, of Hann Builders, who will provide the latest in custom homebuilding trends to help those looking to either build a new home or update their current living quarters, and Kate Smith, color expert with Sensational Color, who also will offer private color consultations by appointment as well as to walk-up attendees. For more information or to sign up for a private session with Smith, visit the show’s website at WoodlandsShows.com.

Final Touch Granite & Remodeling will display the latest in an unusual marble that is harder and denser than typical marble, making cleanup and maintenance much easier, giving new life to kitchens and baths. And scheduling automatic operations or operating window treatments remotely from a mobile device has never been easier, and Simple Elegance will show you how as they demonstrate the PowerView Motorization/Automation App from Hunter Douglas.

Tickets for the 14th Annual Spring Home and Garden Show The Woodlands are $9 for adults, $8 for seniors, and children 12 years and younger can attend for free. Free covered parking is available in the parking garage behind the convention center next to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion at Six Pines and Lake Robbins. After parking take the pedestrian skywalk connected to the 4th floor of the garage that will lead you to the hotel/convention center.
