Local YMCA hiring for the summer

THE WOODLANDS, Texas– The South Montgomery County Family YMCA is looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team this summer. Applicants are encouraged to begin the hiring process online at ymcahouston.org. Positions open include lifeguards, swim instructors, day camp counselors and resident camp counselors.

All applicants who apply for a position between May 7-22, will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $500 gift card. To be included in the drawing, applicants must apply online via ymcahouston.org, complete the hiring process and must work a full shift before June 20.

Basic requirements:

  • Lifeguard – Minimum age of 16, lifeguard certifications are a prerequisite
  • Swim Instructor – Minimum age of 16, swim instructor certifications
  • Day Camp Counselor – Minimum age of 18, passion for working with kids
  • Resident Camp Counselor – Minimum age of 18, passion for working with kids
