Keeping it cool in The Woodlands: Season pool passes available now

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Get season pool passes early, and avoid waiting in line at Township pools in May.

Season pool passes are valid for entry into 13 Township pools, including the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center, during the regular season.

Select Township pools are open during the pre-season, May 6, 2017, to June 1, 2017, and the post-season, August 17, 2017, to September 10, 2017.

All Township pools, with the exception of Bear Branch Pool, are open during the regular season, June 2, 2017, through August 15, 2017. Bear Branch Pool is closed for renovations in 2017.

Purchasing or renewing your pool pass is easy. Call The Woodlands Township Recreation Center at 281-210-3950, or visit The Woodlands Township Recreation Center, 5310 Research Forest Drive, 77381. You can also visit www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov, and click program registration.

For new season pool passes, pictures must be taken at The Woodlands Township Recreation Center, located at 5310 Research Forest Drive, within one week of purchasing a new pass by phone or online. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Passes can be purchased by residents for $40 for ages 3 to 64, $15 for those 65 and up, and just $6 for children 2 and under. After purchasing four full-price ($40) passes, residents can purchase additional passes for just $15 each for others in the same household.

For nonresidents, the price is $30 for children 2 and under and $120 for those ages 3 and up. There is no additional family member or senior discount for non-residents.

Daily fees and punch cards are also available during pool season. For guests visiting The Woodlands and residents who only use the pools occasionally, punch cards good for six visits are available for purchase.
