THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Keller Williams The Woodlands and Magnolia celebrates their annual day of service, known as RED Day, on the second Thursday of each May. RED Day was established in 2009, honoring the birthday of the company's vice chairman, Mo Anderson.

Anderson has cultivated a prevalent culture of caring, sharing and giving throughout the company, and there is no better depiction of this than Keller Williams The Woodlands & Magnolia. RED Day is the opportunity to make the internal culture a public one by taking action to renew, energize, and donate to the community.

On May 10th, Keller Williams The Woodlands & Magnolia will partner with the Montgomery County Food Bank to attempt an unprecedented feat, filling an entire semi-truck with rice and beans in a single day. “It’s never been done before in a one-day volunteer shift,” says John Tindall, Montgomery County Food Bank's Volunteer & Community Engagement Manager. In the words of Agent Teresa Sartin, "Keller Williams The Woodlands and Magnolia agents are up for the challenge!"

Various sponsors are partnering with Keller Williams Woodlands & Magnolia and the Montgomery County Food Bank to help raise the $13,000 needed to supply these goods. Additionally, there is an ongoing food drive leading up to the event to collect tangible donations. On RED Day, agents will come together to piece these donations into packages and load them into the truck.

RED Day is just a glimpse of the everyday culture at Keller Williams. Since its beginning in 2009, hundreds of thousands of hours have been given to various causes and communities across the nation. Volunteer numbers continue to grow as friends and families of agents come together to serve. It is all contributing to the legacy Keller Williams strives to leave, one of giving back to the neighborhoods and communities they work in every day.
