2018 East Meets West Performance Night

The Woodlands Chinese Cultural Center (TWCCC) is proud to announce “2018 East Meets West Performance Night” for local residents and students who like Chinese culture and Chinese language. The event will take place on 11/3/18 at 7pm-9pm, organized by TWCCC and North Houston Chinese Association, hosted by The Woodlands High School.

We are thrilled to announce more than 50 of the performers are high school students from The Woodlands High School, The Woodlands College Park High School, Conroe High School, Oak Ridge High School, Grand Oaks High School, and Lone Star College-Montgomery. They will perform with the local Chinese performers and a guest artist from China, who is ranked as a “National First-Class Performer” in China.

The purpose of the event is to enrich the life of the diverse communities in The Woodlands area and provide a platform for the students to show their talent on performing Chinese arts. This is a very good opportunity for them to get as much as exposure to other culture as they can. Hope this experience will benefit to build their global leadership. These events will take place at The Woodlands High School Auditorium, 6101 Research Forest Dr., The Woodlands, TX 77381 This event is free and open to the public.

The Woodlands Chinese Cultural Center is a nonprofit IRS 501(c)(3) organization, Tax ID 81-4869461. We promote the Chinese heritage arts and culture as a part of the Woodlands’ rich cultural resources to enrich life of the diverse communities in the Woodlands area and around.

We encourage and strengthen the artistic and cultural exchanges between China and the U.S. We accomplish our mission by designing, planning, and organizing of a broad range of art and performance activities, events, and educational outreach programs.
