THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Halloween is behind us, but you know what that means: All kinds of fun over the next couple of months for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Eve. We're here to break it down for you, week by week.

It kicks off with a wide variety of Veterans Day events. So many, in fact, Woodlands Online has gathered all of the information and wrapped it up in one guide. Check it out our Veterans Day Guide .

Meanwhile, here's what else is going on this week in The Woodlands.

It's Election Day! After your civic duty, stop by Over the Top Cake Supplies 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 6. Simply present your "I Voted" sticker, and you get to decorate a cupcake for free. While you have to be 18 to vote, you can bring your kid/kids to Over the Top with you and let them leave their mark on something delicious.

Pumpkins combined with flowers? Yes, it's a thing and it's perfect for your Thanksgiving décor. Join Paint & Bubbles Studio 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Thursday Nov. 8 for a Pumpkin Floral Arrangement class. Reserve your spot here.

Travel from London to Africa within a couple of hours all while seated in one place. The John Cooper School presents "A Little Princess" Friday Nov. 9 – Sunday Nov. 11. The musical is based on the classic Victorian novel about a young girl who, against all odds, understands that kindness and creativity is key to a happy life. Get your tickets here.

It's the 23rd annual Children's Festival Saturday and Sunday Nov. 10-11 at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. The theme is Sunny Days and features live performances by Sesame Street characters, a massive "Touch a Truck" Trail, inflatables and tons of crafts/activities. Tickets are just $10, available here.
