NEW CANEY, TX - The following events are planned for adults, children, young adults, and their families in May 2019 at R. B. Tullis Library, 21569 Hwy 59, New Caney, Texas.

Monday, May 6th at 1:30pm – 3:00pm – Microsoft Word Part 2

Microsoft Word Part 2 delves into more in-depth formatting options, such as Styles, Headers, Footers, Format Painter, Cut and Paste, Copy and Paste, and more.

Monday, May 6th at 4:30pm – Girls Who Code Meeting

Attend this parent meeting to learn about and register for the Girls Who Code Summer Reading Program for ages 8-17. Program is open to both boys and girls but is meant for girls.

Tuesday, May 7th at 6:30pm – 8:00pm – Learn to Play the Ukulele

Bring your uke and tuner and join in the fun! All ages and skill levels welcome!

Wednesday, May 8th at 10:00am – Adult Book Club

In May we are reading “Circe” by Madeline Miller. Please join us for coffee and a fun discussion! Newcomers welcome!

Saturday, May 11th at 10:00am – Girls Who Code Meeting

Attend this parent meeting to learn about and register for the Girls Who Code Summer Reading Program for ages 8-17. Program is open to both boys and girls but is meant for girls.

Monday, May 20th at 4:15pm – Teen Movie Matinee: Aquaman (PG-13)

Join us each month as we enjoy a free screening of a film projected on the big screen! In May, teens are invited to watch Aquaman with us! Popcorn and drinks will be provided. Rating: PG-13.
