Inspiration Ranch’s ‘Denim & Diamonds Gala’ a galloping success

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Inspiration Ranch, the locally based nonprofit organization that provides equine therapy services to special needs individuals, recently held its 18th annual ‘Denim & Diamonds Gala.’ True to its word, the gathering at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott was attended by hundreds of philanthropists who eschewed their tuxes and evening gowns for jeans and boots.

The event featured live entertainment, silent and live auctions (the latter auctioneered by Jason Alexander), a raffle, dinner, videos, organizational updates, and even a saloon-themed afterparty. Inspiration Ranch president MG Tindall also led an honoring of Amerigo’s Grille’s Carol & Michael Watford, as well as a remembrance of founding board member Bob Marlowe, who massed away last year.

“I’m very excited about tonight. We’ve got a lot of new things happening in the future,” Tindall told Woodlands Online at the event. And so we’re excited to share that and some of our stories and some of our clients tonight, too. I can't believe we've been in that property for seven years now. It’s growing and we're close to being out of space, but we’re going to remedy that starting tonight.”

While the exact fundraising total for this most recent gala has not yet been publicly released as donations are still incoming and being tallied, Inspiration Ranch’s historical fundraising performance for this specific event provides a clear baseline: the past three annual galas each raised more than $650,000 to fund the organization’s equine therapy and mental health programs. Proceeds from these events directly provide essential financial scholarships so families can access Inspiration Ranch’s therapeutic riding services without financial barriers.
