Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital to offer free joint pain seminar, Tuesday, April 23

THE WOODLANDS, TX - Whether you suffer from an old or new sports injury, had an accident or simply experience achy, aging joints, it can become a real pain and create long-term problems. Join Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital for an educational event on Tuesday, April 23, from 6 – 8 p.m. that will explore the different types of joint pain, causes and the latest treatments available in Montgomery County.

Get answers to common questions about: PRP injections, opioid-sparing surgery and recovery, stem cell injections and rapid recovery techniques after joint replacement.

Dr. Marc Labbe’, chief of surgery and orthopedic surgeon at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital, said, 'What's exciting is that this event will give people a chance to meet a talented team of specialists, all of whom can answer questions and draw from their own experiences and specific area of expertise.'

Meet the Houston Methodist Orthopedics & Sports Medicine – The Woodlands team, which includes orthopedic surgeons, Dr. Alex Davis, Dr. David L. Dice, Dr. John Fackler, Dr. Marc Labbe’, Dr. Kenneth Palmer, Dr. Eric Price and primary care sports medicine physician, Dr. Alysia Robichau.

Following the physician lecture and Q&A, guests will receive free 5-minute joint assessments by the Houston Methodist physical therapy team.

The event will take place on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital, located at 17201 Interstate 45 S., The Woodlands. The event will take place on the third floor, in the conference center.
