Aggravated Robbery, Dayton Stripes Store

DAYTON, TX -- Multi-County Crime Stoppers is working with the Dayton Police Department seeking information leading to the identity of suspects involved in an Aggravated Robbery.

Crime of the Week 06-13-19


On Thursday, May 30, 2019 at approximately 2:21 AM, three suspects entered the back entrance of Stripes convenient store located at 811 Hwy 90 Dayton TX, 77535 displaying an Assault Rifle, Semi-Auto handgun and a knife. The three suspects appeared to be White or Hispanic Males approximately 5’7” - 5’10”. One suspect was medium build wearing dark grey tennis shoes, dark colored pants, and fluorescent yellow long sleeve shirt identified as a Precision Lawn business shirt, a Camo mask, and a black backpack carrying a knife.

The second suspect was medium build wearing white tennis shoes with red soles, dark colored pants, long sleeve dark grey or black hoodie and black mask carrying a black Semi-Auto handgun.

The third suspect had a thin build wearing light grey and white converse shoes, light colored blue jeans, light grey long sleeve hoodie, blue white and orange ball cap, mask and sunglasses carrying an Assault Rifle.

They ordered the store clerk to open the registers and began to take the cash and put it in their pockets. Some other items taken were various packs of cigarettes and swisher sweet cigarillos. The suspects exited the store at the rear entrance and fled into the dark entering a light grey or white SUV. The vehicle may be a Ford, Lincoln, or Mercury SUV early 2000’s model with what appeared to have a spare tire on the passenger rear of the vehicle.
