$15,000 in Lawn Equipment and Trailer Stolen

HOUSTON, TX - Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Auto Theft Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for an Auto Theft.

On Sunday, May 26, 2019, at approximately 6:40 p.m., the victim parked his vehicle (a 2003 Dodge Ram and trailer) in the 12200 block of Gulf Freeway in Houston, TX. The victim’s trailer carried a John Deere-quik-trak-stand on mower- lawn equipment. During the incident, the suspects are seen arriving in a tan Chevrolet Tahoe or Suburban SUV near the victim’s vehicle. Suspect #1 then entered the victim’s vehicle and fled westbound out of the parking lot. Suspect #2 also fled the scene (in the suspect vehicle) through the northwest side of the parking lot. The victim’s vehicle was recovered the following day without the trailer. The stolen John Deere-quik-trak-stand on mower-lawn equipment is valued at approximately $15,000. Suspect’s Description: Suspect #1: Hispanic male, approximately 20-35 years old, red shirt, black ball cap, last seen driving away in the victim's vehicle. Suspect #2: Unknown male or female, wearing a white T-shirt, last seen driving away in the suspect vehicle.

Suspect Vehicle Description: Late model, tan Chevrolet Tahoe or Suburban, with a paper tag, a red and white square sticker in the left rear window, and a broken rear lift-gate handle.
