Junior League of The Woodlands packs meals for underprivileged for 2026 Find The Good Day
THE WOODLANDS, TX – Junior League of The Woodlands, a leading women’s organization dedicated to making a positive impact in the local Woodlands-area communities, recently celebrated ‘Find the Good Day’ at its headquarters. This special day of unity and compassion aims to spread kindness, uplift others, and inspire positive change across Northern Harris and Montgomery Counties.
“This annual ‘Find the Good Day’ event is an opportunity to showcase the remarkable efforts of Junior League of The Woodlands, our community partners, various organizations and nonprofits, small businesses, and local leaders,” said Shannon Regan, president of this chapter of Junior League. “Together, they will share how their organizations contribute to finding and promoting goodness in our community. This day allows us to reflect on the kindness within ourselves and draw inspiration from the acts of kindness we have witnessed and participated in throughout the year.”
This year, the event was opened to the public as volunteers lined up to pack hundreds of bags of food for underprivileged children in public schools as part of the organization’s H.A.P.P.Y. program. So far this year, more than 3,000 such bags have been distributed by Junior League of The Woodlands.
On hand at the event was Brad Bailey, Chairman of The Woodlands Township, who presented Regan with a proclamation from the board of directors recognizing the day and its importance to the community.
“This is a great event,” Bailey told Woodlands Online. “Junior League does so much for The Woodlands and Montgomery County. Shannon is one of my dearest friends and my wife is an avid shopper of Junior League’s annual Christmas Market event. As the father of two daughters, it’s good to see how much these women give back.”
