Houston Police and Crime Stoppers Looking for Suspect Wanted on Criminal Mischief Charge

HOUSTON, TX - Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department's Burglary and Theft Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for a Felony Criminal Mischief.

Between Friday, April 26, 2019 and Saturday, April 27, 2019, the suspect damaged a statue that was in front of a business located in the 2400 block of South Dairy Ashford Road in Houston, Texas. During the incident, the suspect approached a statue of Jesus and grabbed the head. The suspect eventually knocked over the stone statue, causing it to break. The suspect fled the location on foot in an unknown direction of travel. The statue’s estimated value is approximately $8,000. Video surveillance captured images of the suspect during the incident.

Suspect Description: Black male, 28 to 32 years old, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
