2020 Rodeo Run Registration Now Open

HOUSTON, TX - Registration for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo 2020 Rodeo Run, presented by ConocoPhillips, is now open at rodeohouston.com/rodeorun. The annual event, to be held in downtown Houston on Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, includes a wheelchair race, 10K race and 5K fun run/walk, followed by a post-race celebration at Eleanor Tinsley Park.

Proceeds from the Rodeo Run benefit the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, raising over $5 million since
the event began in 1988. In 2019, the Rodeo Run rallied more than 9,100 participants.

How to Register:
Participants can register online today through 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, or at any of the Packet Pickup dates.
Race day registration and race day packet pickup (for untimed events only) will also be available for this year’s
Rodeo Run, from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the site of the race.

Registration Fees:
Pricing is the same for Wheelchair Race, 10K and 5K
• Early Bird Registration (through Jan. 20): $30 per person
• Regular Registration prior to race day: $35 per person
• Race Day Registration (New for 2020): $40 per person

Race Course:
The race will start at the corner of Walker and Bagby, and end on Allen Parkway, near Eleanor Tinsley Park.

Post-Race Celebration:
Participants and supporters are invited to Eleanor Tinsley Park after the race for a celebration, including food,
entertainment and a Family Fun Zone.

2020 Rodeo Run Schedule: Saturday, Feb. 29:
• 9:10 a.m.: 10K Wheelchair
• 9:20 a.m.: 5K & 10K Elite, 10K Timed
• 9:35 a.m.: 5K Timed/Untimed
• 10 a.m.: Downtown Rodeo Parade

New for 2020, Elite runners participating in the 5K and 10K races will start together at 9:20 a.m. This start time
will allow the 5K runners to tackle the 2020 Rodeo Run at their own pace and without the risk of catching up to
the 10K walkers.
