Radunare Italian-American Table to Now Offer Full-Service Dining
THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Woodlands has asked for it, and Radunare Italian-American Table has listened – Radunare announced today that it will offer full-service dining which includes table service, waitstaff and a full bar with a separate bar staff. Since Radunare’s mid-summer opening, Founder Dr. Frank Morello has carefully listened to customers and their wants and needs. By moving to full-service, the casual Italian-American restaurant is able to deliver an attentive dining experience that shows off the intense sense of family and intimate gatherings that is at the heart of Radunare.
“I opened Radunare intending to create the feeling that I am inviting diners into my family’s kitchen,” Morello said. “I want everyone to not only feel the restaurant’s casual, welcoming atmosphere, but to also enjoy the authentic, homemade food that we have created from generations of family recipes. Being able to provide table service allows us to really take care of our guests. I hope that you feel at home and we are waiting to serve you.”
Morello’s family tree extends back to the Italian island of Sicily. With few belongings, overflowing hearts, and an abundance of recipes, his ancestors arrived in the United States in 1898. The authentic, homemade Italian-American food at Radunare is reminiscent of the family matriarch’s cooking, and each dish pays homage to Morello’s ancestors, with an emphasis on fresh, quality ingredients. Chef Teresa Palermo, a fellow Italian American, has joined the team and is the new leader of Radunare’s kitchen.
Radunare has also introduced a new lunch menu, which is served daily from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Highlighted lunch specials include a Meatball Calzone with Morello’s Market meatballs, house marinara sauce and provolone; Chicken Parm Calzone with house marinara sauce and cheese; Prosciutto & Cheese Panini stuffed with thinly sliced Parma prosciutto, roasted zucchini and fresh mozzarella; Tomato & Roasted Pepper Bisque and a Caprese Salad. For those who can’t decide – Radunare has added salad, sandwich and soup combos.
The full menu also has some mouth-watering newcomers. A Charcuterie Board makes an appearance as a new appetizer offering, along with the Prosciutto Crostini. Pasta additions include Shrimp Scampi with garlic cream sauce and fresh linguine; Gnocchi with a choice of marinara, Alfredo or meat ragu sauce; and Capellini A Olio with sage sun-dried tomatoes, oil and vegetables. Delicious new features include an Italian Herb Steak with chimichurri glaze, served with fingerling potatoes, asparagus and cherry tomatoes; Chicken Piccata and Pesce Provencal. All features are accompanied by your choice of a side salad or a cup of soup.
The restaurant is also pleased to announce that it will be offering several gluten free pastas and all pizzas can now be made with gluten free crusts.
Radunare has also added to its wine and alcohol offerings – expanding the full bar with the addition of popular top-shelf brands. Happy Hour is offered Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and all day Sunday at the bar. New cocktails include the Cucumber Mint with EFFEN cucumber infused vodka, agave nectar and soda; the Pinky Ring with vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup, Mathilde Frambois and champagne; the Lower Manhattan with bourbon, sweet vermouth, Woodford spiced cherry and bitters; and the Sicilian Kiss with gin, Campari and sweet vermouth.
Radunare is open for lunch, happy hour, dinner and to-go, serving signature Italian-American specialties in a casual setting. The restaurant seats 120 inside and 40 on the shaded patio.
