UPDATE: MoCo Democrat Party Shenanigans

THE WOODLANDS, TX --James Noack, Montgomery County Commissioner, picked up a last-minute opponent as the filing period drew to a close yesterday. Lore Jones filed as a Democratic Party candidate late on Monday. Initial reports indicated that she filed by petition. Allen Blakemore, Noack campaign spokesman, offered these comments.

“The plot thickens. First, Democrats say candidate filed by petition then claimed that the candidate filed by check. All this seems to have taken place out of public view and late in the day – perhaps even after the 6PM deadline.

“I smell a rat! The James Noack Campaign is preparing to take legal action against the Democrat Party Chair Marc Meyer and shine a bright light on these Democrat Party shenanigans.

“We will release information regarding our legal actions in the coming days.”
