Become the hero of your own story! Join the Montgomery County Memorial Library System (George and Cynthia Woods Mitchell Library and South Montgomery County Library) for an interactive reading of a Choose Your Own Adventure book, May 18 at 10:30 a.m. on Facebook live. EVENT LINK

Montgomery County Animal Shelter Adoption Program will offer free pet food, free vaccinations, and microchips, May 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Interfaith of The Woodlands. Pet owners who need a little extra help can take advantage of these freebies! EVENT LINK

The Adventure Begins & Young Rembrandts invite you to bring your child for a drawing and writing afternoon, May 21 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. They will teach them how to draw a couple different characters while exploring attributes and traits to write a short story! EVENT LINK

The Woodlands Family YMCA will host a mobile market in the Shadowbend YMCA parking lot, May 23, starting around 9 a.m. Each family could receive an assortment of fresh produce, dry/canned goods, frozen meat, breads/desserts, etc. based on availability. EVENT LINK
