THE WOODLANDS, TX – The 4th of July fireworks display brought celebration to the community at a time when it needed it most. In honor of America’s 244th birthday, the 18-minute fireworks display launched from the campus of Lone Star College – Montgomery at 9:30 p.m., Saturday July 4. Hundreds filled the surrounding parking lots eager to get a good view.

To keep in line with social distancing, it was a drive-thru display. Spectators were to remain in and around their cars. For those who couldn’t make it to the show in person, Woodlands Online streamed it live on our site. Click here to watch the captivating fireworks display, complete with drone footage!

The, “extravaganza” was synced to a musical broadcast by KSTAR Country 99.7 FM. Check out photos from the show, here! It was produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department, presented by CHI St. Luke’s Health - The Woodlands, and sponsored by Howard Hughes.

Woodlands Online’s live broadcast would not have been possible without our sponsors, Hal Watson Air Conditioning Company, and The Adventure Begins. Sam Houston State University lent their garage to our production team, and host-with-the-most Vinny Sinisi, with TEAMSINISI Real Estate Group, entertained the audience with charm. We are so thankful for all involved.

We hope you had a fun and festive 4th of July!
