Alert: Tropical Storm Warning **Correction

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Our District is currently under a Tropical Storm Warning according to the NWS. The South Montgomery County Fire Department along with our partners are actively participating in the daily conference calls and planning so that we can continue to serve the community. Forecasters have indicated that stronger winds could arrive in our area tomorrow evening with Laura’s arrival predicted to be late Wednesday night / early Thursday morning. The current projected track shows the system coming in at the Texas/Louisiana border, however, this track could shift further West. Have a plan and pay attention to weather alerts being put out by forecasters and your local officials.
