The Woodlands Fire Department Responds to Apartment Fire at Holly Creek Apartments

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Fire Department responded to a reported apartment fire Thursday morning at the Holly Creek Apartments, located at 333 Holly Creek.

At approximately 6:45 a.m., TWFD was dispatched to the apartment complex after receiving a report of a fire. Truck 108 was the first unit to arrive and reported seeing fire and smoke coming from the second floor of Apartment Building 19.

Firefighters immediately initiated an offensive attack and quickly extinguished the fire. The blaze was confined to the landing and front door area of the affected apartment.

While firefighters worked to extinguish the fire, additional crews assisted residents with evacuation efforts and checked the building for any fire extension.

There were no reported injuries. Residents were permitted to return to the building by approximately 7:30 a.m.

The Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.

The Woodlands Fire Department was assisted at the scene by the Montgomery County Hospital District and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
