THE WOODLANDS, TX - According to the Montgomery County office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, the latest update for Hurricane Laura has The Woodlands area bracing for 30-45 MPH winds and one to two inches of rain.

They go on to state, 'Forecast track has continued to shift to our east overnight. Hurricane Laura has intensified to a Cat. 3 hurricane overnight and is expected to continue to intensify today before making landfall early tomorrow morning. Look for outer bands to begin moving inland later today, with increasing coverage later tonight as Laura reaches the coastline and makes landfall.'

WIND

• West of I-45: 30-40mph
• East of I-45: 45-55mph

RAINFALL

• West of I-45: 1-2 inches
• East of I-45: 2-6 inches
